I became interested in open source in 2006. I was very active in the local open source community. We organize parties and lectures to promote Linux and the concept of open source in our university. I also got involved in open source development.

I created several open source projects myself. My most popular open source project is a snippet plugin (YASnippet) for GNU Emacs. Recently I've accepted to assign the copyright to the Free Software Foundation so that this package can be available in the official Emacs plugin repository. I also participated in Google Summer of Code in the summer of 2008 to help with the development of the Scheme interpreter for Thousand Parsec. More of my open source utilities can be found here.
